Wonderful photostory and biography! I always appreciate those that overcome adversity! They are usually stronger for the struggle! If I was the bird though I wouldn't push my luck!!! LOL

Nice series but..................

not a Gray Catbird (they are gray all over) but a Willow Flycatcher.

Flycatcher.....My horses would love them hitching rides on their bareback. The fly spray helps, but to eradicate, they'd love that!

Well Bill, any bird that say "meow" has always been refered to as a cat bird where we come from, LOL.

As to a willow flycatcher, it's not one of them either. I looked.

So Mr. Catbird remains a mystery.

But there's a lot of them around here.
