Mr Catbird is in LOVE with Hank, LOL, and always visits when Hank is outside...

Shoot Silver- don't feel sorry for Hank!

Hankie is our amputee cat. We have had him for 11 years, and he came to us in West Virginia on a holiday weekend with a compound fracture (bone sticking out through skin) and a broken tail that had statred to atrophy-YUCK

350.00 later, minus the tail and the entire leg including the joint- he was healthy again.

His one hind leg is hugely muscular, and we lovingly refer to it as his "turbo leg", lol.

He catches mice, rats, squirrels, babysits children, cares for the sick and the sad alike, and is the least handicapped spirit it has ever been my pleasure to share space with. He has made our lives richer just by the simple act of being. My husband says it is the best 350.00 we ever spent!

Well now you have Hank's history- in short form.

Secretly- I think he knew the bird was there and was just being nice. It would be the Hank thing to do

Tracy-

What a wonderful story. Count me as one of Hank's big fans.
