Hi everyone,

I intend to purchase a Kodak EasyShare V530 digicam pretty soon. But I have a doubt about it's accessories: does it come with an USB A/V connector, so I can plug it directly to the computer's USB port without using the dock?

I'm ordering it online, so I cannot get to see what's in the box before buying. Reading the packing contents on websites, I do not see this connector listed, although it is mentioned on the manual, as you can see here:

If it does not come with it, where can I find/buy it?

PS: Tried to contact Kodak tech support, but no answer so far...

Thank you,

- Helder

Go here and look towards the bottom of the page. It will tell you yes to your questions!

bigdawg: Thanks

I got the answer I was looking for, from a kodak support enginner. I'll post it here, for others that had the same question.

He said:
The V530 is packaged differently in the US vs the rest of the world. Only the US packages come with the Photo Frame Dock 2. Everywhere else, it comes with the USB/AV adapter. All packages include the AC Adapter and the USB cable and AV cable.

It seems I'll just use a memory card reader, If I cannot get that adapter (called "connector" on the manual, from the pic above) from Kodak.

Bye,

I just couldn't imagine Kodak not including a way to connect to your computer! Have fun with the new camera and post some photo's when you get it! My wife has the C340 and loves it!
