The Gulls were swiming and wading in the shallow water of the sand and broken shell beach of the Salt Marsh Nature Center. This Gull caught my eye because his shadow on the water blocked the glare on the water which made the ground strewn with broken shells it was standing on fill in his shadow.

None!

The water ws shallow and clear so the Gulls shadow defeated the glare on the waters surface and gave a clear view of the shell strewn bottom.

The pattern of the ripples on the water, broken shells and corse dark gravel reminded me of one of the programs that renders a photo by use of many tiny unrelated photos.
