FINALLY got him. I have only been trying for like, 2 weeks? The overcast day was perfect to really make his color stand out.

Beautiful Tracy! If you can find a feeder with a ledge sticking out 6" or so he'll keep comming back and pretty soon you won't have to hunt so hard! Feed him Black oil sunflower seeds. I've found they don't like the normal type of perch that most feeders have. They prefer one that is a flat ledge! Just an Idea!

Great shot Tracy,I can't seem to get a good tree shot most of mine are on the ground.

Thanks for that info about ledge feeder Dawg,I didn't know that

They are half and half ground and tree feeders Sandy. The will feed off the ground but if they have a ledge to stand on on a feeder they will come back time after time. Put it near some limbs because they like to sneak up on a feeding sight.
