Thanks for your replies.

It was taken from about 20 feet and I think the zoom was about half way. I have not figured out that formula yet. We have a Sanctuary here called the Living Desert. Silver knows where that is. This is a bird native to Mexico that is being rehabilitated but it appeared to be ok to me. After waiting for it for about 25 minutes it allowed me only one shot.

Uhoh... it's anArboretum , plantlife as well as animal life, that coincide with eachother. AABGA acredited. It may be part of the CSU system, It's been so many years since I have visited there and Deep Canyon Im not sure. One heck of a shot, especially for just one shot!
