Did not know the P850 was capable of this 1st shot. Shot at twilight, actually. F- stop all the way up (tried it all the way down but it didn't make much difference) ISO 400, comp., I think +1, (I probably have this wrong) and custom white balance used.

Thanks for some great photos. Just for the record, do you know that the best "night" photos are taken at or near twilight or dusk. So you are on the right trail. Congratulations.

Yes, I do know why. It is because you get fuller more wide spread lighting. As a result your photo actually looks better.

LOL, makes sense to me. I don't know nearly enough about lighting yet, so TY for the info. I appreciate it. I am the kind that forever is asking "WHY?!"

Nice shots Tracy,

I especially like the night moon shot. It is one of the crispest I've seen here on the forum.
