Done quite simply and cheap...a piece of 3/4" steel stock bent in a vise and a drill bit depth stop epoxied on to hold the cable. Hardest part was tapping the thread for the tripod mount, took me a couple tries to get it kinda:roll:straight. I'm handy to have around, but certainly no professional, so don't be afraid to try to make your own. For a few bucks in parts and a 6pack, you too can hide in the basement for awhile:-)

I'm more interested in the face than the bracket, though the bracket is a good one looks like you could produce those and sell them Dan!! Might be some bucks there if you put them on EBay! It took you long enough to get your face out from behind that camera so the world can see you! LOL
