Default Problem with DC290.

Anyone know what the most likely problem is with a DC290 that powers on but then powers off with good batteries?

Thanks,

Gary

to answer immediately: low batteries, overheating due to leaving the camera on too long.

my questions to you;

Do you have a manual for the DC290? they are available for download on the KODAK DC290 web page.

When the DC290 powers on it does a power on self test. If you are sure the batteries are good then its likely this test is failing. Note a bad card might also cause this test to fail, so don't forget to turn the cam on without the CF card inside.

Do you get anything on the top display?
