real nice shots boily, number one is the best in my opinion. It looks to be a clear crisp focus, and the others lack the focus that this one has, yet they are very nice shots.

How far away are you? when you use the T-con, do you use it at maxoptical zoom?

Mr Blue: I am still using my Dx6490 with the tcon17

Silver&Dawg: I always use the Tcon at full optical zoom. In these shots I was standing about 12 feet from the bird!

To get clear shots I turn off my digital zoom!! ( If I want to get closer I'll crop my pictures on the computer).

You can see in these pictures that with the AF and all the branchesI had a hard time focusing
