Actually the weather was not that good and quite foggy on that day, so I have no choice but to raise the ISO setting, and resulted in losing details after noise reduction with software.

The species of the bird named Black-earred Kite (or simply Black Kite), a very common type of eagles to be found in Hong Kong. You can easily find them over the harbour area and the peak, especially from November till March every year.

They are experts on hunting fishes and small mammals. Sometimes they even enjoy showing off their "gliding skills" by dropping their "harvest" in the air, and suddenly dash down and grab it back before it hits the ground.

Very nice pictires. Looks like a night hawk that eats insect while in flight.

Very interest the way the bird varies the spread of its tail feathers!

Were these taken hand held?

Yes they were taken hand-held, very difficult on framing at the longest zoom 734mm (with 1.7X tcon attached).

No complaint! The TCON just works perfectly on my P850. Actually I had considered selling it out when I got the 1.4X from a Kodak dealer, which is compatible with both P880 and P850, but now I decided to keep both after I took these pictures.

Helo Alvin!

I have a Z7590 and I have been thinking about the Kodak and the Olympus Tel Con's. I have read that the Olympus is a little larger in size and weight but it not important to set the camera to aux lens. The kodak calls for setting the camera to aux lens.

Do see any reason that the Kodak is better choice over the Olympus?
