Tele aux. is nice but wide angle is my favorite. Anyone have a wide angle aux. lens?

I have a z7595 with the OlympusT-con 1.7x and a kodak adaptor ring for it.

Any wide aux recomendation (lost interest in any products from Kodak)?

Does a aux wide angle call for a different length adaptor ring?

I have the Schneider Wide angle lens that Kodak sells. It's an 0.7x 55mm lens and does a very nice job. That means Bill that it will use the same adapter as the Oly TCON-17. You can stack filters with this lens as well to get those bright sun outside shots too Bill. But a warning that if you do you'll get some minor vignetting at the widest angle. Also with almost any wideangle lens , if you zoom out while that lens is attached you'll get some distortion around the edges. But after all you want a wide angle lens for the wide angle not the zoom!

This first photo is with a normal lens and some zoom.

This is with the wideangle lens and a sky1-A filter and a polorizing filter stacked. You'll notice the little bit of vignetting I was talking about in thre upper right hand corner! This is from the filters being stacked with the wideangle lens. Very easy to clone out though!

Thanks B/D!

The fact that it is shaded in just one corner it could mean that the aux lens is not totally parralel to the lens?

Either screwed in bad or out of aligned lens element in barrel.

I don't see myself buying any more Kodak add ons. Not too wild about 2x aux and their repair and trade in policy.
