Here`s a shot i took yesterday at my parents, they have a lot more hummingbirds there than at my house.it was raining all day, making for low shutter speeds so i upped the ISO to 1600.I denoised this some, not much though,i was supprized how well the noise is kept under control for 1600.the only other things i did was crop ..So what do you think.I am going to have to go back when/if the sun ever comes out again, lol,i`d like to see what i get at 200-400 ISO...

One thing i have found though compared to the DX6490 is that high ISO noise looks more like film grain, the 6490 at 400has a lot of color noise...

Thats a nice shot, Brian, looks real good for 1600 iso!

Have you put together a gallery from the d50? I'd really like to see it, if you have:-)
