Saw this little one yesterday evening. Was on the slope of a hill covered in wood chips. So it was not the best angle to take pictures and the dog was pulling me a bit.

I am soo jealous... first of all, at your ability to capture such a beautiful picture of a turtle.:-)

And second of all, at the fact that you see turtles when you're just out walking... turtles don't live in the prairies where I live.

Excellent capture, I love the pictures!

Thanks Dawg. No that didn't occur to me :-0, but I thought for sure Kelsey would get his nose in the way if he could've gotten down there.

Thanks Morag2. No need to be jealous, I'd bet there are lots of things in the praries to take pictures of that I would be jealous of.
