Hello from Germany!

My new P880 works great with the latest firmware, but I have one problem:

The filenames are usually like 100_1234.jpg and so on. But sometimes, I have filenames like 100b1234.jpg. this causes the filenames not to be in numerical order, which is very annoying when watching them with ACDSee or IrfanView.

Does anyone know a reason - or better - a cure for this problem?

Many thanks in advance-
Jens

This naming convention from the camera only appears when you use the burst mode. That's what the b stands for for. Most of the Kodak's have this function - it allows you to take successive pictures, while holding down the shutter button, in a "burst", usually 3 - 5 at a time at 2.3 fps. It is explained on page 30 of the User's Guide for my camera (P850). You can find it on the camera under the drive menu.
