I have tried (and was happy with it) the free slide show program from Microsoft.

I think it's called photo show 3. Lots of transistions, pan/zoom on a shot, auto adjust music etc.

What program(s) do you use for making a slide show that can be shared, stored and or burned to disc (cd or dvd).

I haven't actually made any slideshows (besides basic powerpoint ones)... I'll have to look into this program you're talking about.
