A few shots I got this morning.

He wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a good shot but i think these came out ok.

and this first one would of been alot better had i gotten his whole tail

Very nice! The first one is definately my favourite.

How did you get so close to it? Even with full zoom I don't think I could get that close to a squirrel.

Thanks, the first is my fav as well.

and squirrels around here will usually come right up to you especially if you are calling them over or if you are holding out food for them.

when I was down at the boat docks a few months back one of the 2 squirrels that was down there came right up and put his hand on my finger.

Wow, lucky, the animals were I live bolt at first site of you. The jackrabbits and deer wont' let you get closer than about 30 feet unless you're really lucky, and as soon as they're in sight, they start staring at you with beady eyes:sad:

Lol, I love the diversity here as well, sadly the only thing living in my backyard are deer and rabbits (and those are pretty hard to find).

I'm gonna buy him some nuts some time this week and then see if i can't get him to take it out my hand and snap a shot but i'll have to be careful i don't want him to bite me =\

and i agree i love it here as well.
