Well here's my photos of the fireworks display at New Strawn, Ks. This is small community of between 500 and 1,000 people. There was a huge turnout. I had some minor problems with the camera. It would freeze up, where I had to shut it off, to get to continue, so I lost some of the really good ones of course :-) Just click on the thumbnail for a larger view..

Hey man, those look pretty sweet! I especially like #9, that palm-tree look is awesome! Woulda been nice to use that manual focus and try to bring the moon detail in a bit It was cloudy over here so I didn't get to see any of nature's light show

Thank you..

I learned that shooting fireworks with digital cams you miss alot. I had my exposure set to 3.2 secs for most of them. Then it took about another 10 secs to record. In the meantime the fireworks are going crazy...

However I done double-duty. I was also videotaping it. That was a bit of chore, making sure the camcorder was getting the shots and shooting stills... It was fun :-)
