Which one is it that I need for the p850?

I've been looking on the net but I've seen a few different ones
and am not sure which one to get ..

Theres 3 here

For your P850, get the first one. Make sure you have a Kodak 55mm lens adapter.

Check out Amazon.com.

They have them priced at 89.95, and if you want you can get 30 bucks off if you apply and put it on an Amazon card...I did, and got mine for around 70 bucks.

I've also been looking hard at the TCON-17. Will it also work for the P880? I know the lenses are different, in that the P850 doesn't have the mechanical zoom, and I think it does not have the degree of wide angle that the P880 does.

The tcon17 will not work with the p880 due to the high magnification of the tcon (1.7x) and the 24mm wide-angle on the p880!!

Even with a full optical zoom, you will see some dark corners on your pictures(vignetting)

Yes,the kodak 1.4x tcon is the better choice for the p880!
