Well... a couple months ago, I had went and bought me a camera from Wal-Mart, which just so happened to be a Kodak EasyShare C310.

For about a month, it was okay, but then I went to use it one day and the screen was broken... which was really weird considering the great care I gave it.

Anyway... I had brought it back to Wal-Mart with the receipt to exchange it, but... the woman in electronics told me that she couldn't take it back because it had showed signs of customer abuse. Me? Abuse the camera that I had waited so long to get? The one single electronic device that I loved (besides my computer)? I was awestruck. So... I had talked to the manager... and... she went talk to the woman in electronics... and told me the same thing she did.

So... you see... I can't return it... and I don't really want to spend another $150 for another one... so I'm slowly learning how to do things on it (such as deleting pictures) blindly.

The only think I can't do at the moment is turn off the time stamp.. and the manual doesn't tell you how... and if it did, it probably wouldn't tell you in great detail.

So... that's what I need help with.

Could someone please tell me how to turn off the time stamp step-by-step? It would be greatly appreciated!

Go to the menue scroll down to set up, then scroll down to the time menu! Open that up and choose no time date stamp! Hope this helps!!

Also if your camera is not that old it should be under warranty and can be repaired by Kodak!

Why don't you try using your A/V output and use your tv as your display to make changes?

Well... actually... no, it doesn't really help at all... like I said... I can't see the screen... so I'm working blind.

If you can, tell me how many times I have to go up/down to get to a certain selection.

Thank you in advance.

I have an old CX7310

So i think the settings should be pretty much the same.

i'll try this the best i can.

1. Menu
2. hit UP once (it should bring you to setup menu)
3. check OK
4. go down 4 times
5. check OK
6. if the date on your pictures is YEAR MONTH DAY - Hit up ONE time
if its MONTH DAY YEAR - hit up TWO time
7. check OK

hope that helps
