Just my luck that I chose to build a new house right in the flight path of the local hot air balloonists. At 7:00 in the morning it sounds like a fire breathing dragon is outside my window. These guys actually came right down the street and landed in the construction site one block from my humble adobe abode. Unfortunately my shotgun was still packed up so I grabbed the camera instead.

These balloons cost more than the average Albuquerque home.

LOL! Too funny! I think having balloons like that near me would be so neat BUT I would hate to have to put up with all the noise they make at close distances!

Facia--is that your house in the photo? Great design!

Scrappy-- Common New Mexico pueblo-style architecture... Single story home is mine, other one is my next door neighbor's.
