It's nice and small (Verizon PN-215) 1.2 mp and has a led flash.

Anyone can take a bad picture with a good camera............

but can you take a good picture with a bad camera!!!!!!!!

Just like Casey Stengel said "when you come to a fork in the road take it":?

When the focus, contrast and brightness can't be saved by adobe you solarize, posterize and or scramble the color valuse and or temperature.

I've got a sony/ericsson v600i mobile phone and it's not that bad for taking snaps. It's only got a 1.3mp camera though.

I actually saw a nice camera phone. It was a Nokia something or other.

It was 3.2MP with 3x Optical zoom, only time I've ever seen zoom in a camera-phone. I figured it would make a nice pocket camera seeing as I need a cell phone soon anyways, but decided to go for a real compact camera for the extra features.

I am on a pre paid plan. Calls are .10 per minute. Sending photos .25 ea.

I was so happy going from 35mm to digital and never paying for film or processing of slide film. This .25 per pop is a bit too much.

I have searched for a usb wire to my camera so I can do my own down loading. I suspect that at times Verizon does not know their elbow from their @ss. One rep said yes it exists, one said only independent distributors and one said it only works for data but not photos. Pantech is also tight liped on the issue. Pantech used to make phones for audiovox and Motorola and this phone is based on a early audiovox (folding clam like all the Motorolas. Phone works fine and camera is a nice toy for a big boy.

Free calls to other Verizon cell phones and free after 9pm so there goes my freedom. I previously never gave out my cell number so I would not be linked to anyone when I left my house where only this year did I get a phone with a answering machine.

As far as i know we should be looking at 5mp cameras built into phones soon. I can't see them being anything like as good as real digital carmeras though.. Its just another way to sell phones i think.

12 noon

That would take away all the fun.

A 5mp camera on a phone is in reality a 5mp camera with a phone added.
