Recently I was asked how I made the Big Dawg copyright Logo I use. I was shown how to do this by Wagaboo a good while back but don't feel like looking up that post..so here is how I do it step by step!

First bring up photoshop and click on files...then click new..you'll get this dialog box. be sure to click on transparent in the contents section. Click on OK.

You'll get this on your screen...the checkered background shows it is a transparent background!

From the dialog box that appears select the Items as they appear in the screen capture. Color does'nt matter but black is easier to deal with right now. The color will be selectable later when you use it! For now select black. The width works best at 4 PX or slightly larger! You'll see in a second! Now click OK..

As you can see in the example the stroke colored the circle. Now select the typing tool and type a "C" inside the circle. You need to keep changeing the type size until the "C" and the circle look right to you. Then go to the layers menu and select merge visible!

Next go to the tool menu and click on the move tool. Using it click on the copyright symbol you just made and move it to the left side!

Next go to the tools menu and select the typing tool. Using it then type in your name or logo you wish to use! Be sure to size it to match with the copyright symbol you made! Some folks prefer the symbol smaller than the script and others prefer it larger...Make your own decision here!
