Very good. I think #2 is excellent. Don't think I've seen a red one like in #69.

I get close to the dragonfliesbecauseI don't follow them. I see where they land and move to that place. When they again landI slowly position the camera for a pic. I then slowly move myself and/or the camera closer and closer while taking pics. Move slowly and they tolerate me coming pretty close.

Probably works as wellwith other insects like butterflies.

Those are all awesome, Boily. I think 1 and 2 are stunning! Were you using the tcon to take those?

Boily very stunning pictures of the dragon flys. I was wondering, how close did you finally get to take the shot. I have not been able to get my P850 to focus on Marco when I zoom out full opictal. I either have to get closer or and shorten the zoom are go back to normal focus. I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard, I was a little bit lucky for the close shots!!

I was at 2 feet from the Dragonfly..He wasn't moving so I moved closer and closer:-)

I of course, love these shots!

So when you say you used full optical zoom and macro....are you using the macro focus option? Is that it? Thanks!
