Forgot to post this on the first set, this kite was HUGE, the pic doesn't provide a good object for comparison, but it looked to be about 35-40 feet long from tip to tail!

Thanks for the comments nik!

I've got 2 more bands I got pics of, but I want to see if it's possible to take some of the blur out on a few of them.

To be posted soon:
Robert Randolph and the Family Band
The Black Crowes

Ah, so we have a fan!

Good thing too, I took lots of pics of them. They aren't my favorite group but I did really wanna see them, as a matter of fact they were the main headliner (at the tippy-top of the artist lineup). On friday, I met a security guard there that wanted me to get lots of pics of them (and him, he made sure he was working the pit during their show) and said he'd probably buy some of the pics, he even tried to get me into the pit but his supervisors wouldn't let it happen

The crowd was also very accomidating! I had my monopod and I was sticking it above people's heads, but I managed to move from one side of the stage all the way to the other. Some people even let me take their spot to get a better view! Hooray!

Time for some Black Crowes!

So I still haven't figured out a way to reduce the blurriness on these pics, but here are some of the clearer ones!

Here's a good one, wide-angle with some of the crowd. I do like the way the light played off the lens in a few of these shots
