So ya'll might have read in other posts that I went to the Allgood Music Festival in West Virginia a couple weeks ago. I took about 400 pics and several videos with my P880, and most of them turned out great! I was waiting to copyright the photos (thanks for the tutorial Dawg!) because many are of performers and could possibly fetch some $$$! Here are a few (well, many) of my favorites!

All of these pics are completely unedited aside from the copyright stamp and resizing.

Walking down to the main stage area, a few of my friends in the lower part of the pic.

A pic of the stage areas (there were 2 stages side by side and a 3rd on the next hill) and about 1/3 of the camp area is visible

Zoomed shot of the Magic Hat (secondary) stage. As soon as a show finished on the main stage, another would start on the Magic Hat while the next band set up on the main stage, and vice versa. Magic Hat brewing company was the major sponsor of Allgood this year, all the smaller performances went on here. The 3rd stage I actually did not get any pics of, it was called the Rope-a-Dope stage, and they would get performers from different groups to jam together for about a half hour, totally unrehersed. Interesting concept, too bad I didn't really catch much of these because they overlapped with the main shows or magic hat shows!

A cool boulder in a primo spot! Overlooks the stage area and a great view of the rest of the festival grounds!

Here I was lying up on the hill during Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon (the guitarist and bassist from Phish, respectively) playing with the Benevento/Russo duo. For anyone not familiar with Phish, they broke up in 2004. This setup is what I call "Phish II", their sound, style, and overall performance was ALOT like phish back in the day.

This was the clearest pic I could get of "Phish II" from my vantage point on the hill, using the max zoom at night (especially with the rather poor low-light performance of the P880) meant using higher ISO and longer exposure times, which makes for lots of noise and/or blurriness.

A pic of the beautiful landscape

Always a bit of vignetting when using my polarizer, I usually crop it out but as I said, no editing has been done!

A better shot of the stage during the day, a rather impressive setup!

And to add to it, I got the stage along with it!

This is one of the few times I really wished I had a wcon! The P880 has a wide angle already, 24mm, but in this situation an 18mm would have been great!
