Hey everyone! In the next few days I plan on buying Photoshop Elements 4.0. Mainly I'm going to use it to shrink files for the internet and place copyrights on the bottom in large amounts to avoid wasting time with individual processing.

However I know there are various plug-ins that go with Photoshop Elements, so could someone give me a quick explanation of what these do and how I make them work? And also, I could use some suggestions on which plug-ins to use.

Morag, once youve loaded photoshop elements to your program files, to add the plugins you go to the photoshop elements folder then to the filters folder and paste them in the plugin folder you find there. Then open Photoshop Elements and click on the filters menu and you should find them there! Here are two that I use quite a bit .....

DCE Tools

Scroll down the page a bit and look on the right hand side to find the download! It's FREE!!!Works great too!

Here the download is right in front of you! It also is free!

If you get tired of photoshop try Photo Filtre! It is a stand alone program that does almost all the things that Photoshop Elements can do but it is a free program with it's own plugins that you will find on the same web pages as the program download! Ask Boily as he uses it a lot and convinced me to try it!

I hope these are helpful!

Many thanks BigDawg! And guess what, God has decided to save me some money today! I just looked at the flyer for a local electronics store and Photoshop Elements is now $10 cheaper and it comes with a 512MB Thumb Drive for free... Hooray!!
