I can't seem to remember Boily but have you tried them with the TCON-17. I seem to remember Tom Overton using them that way! En121 they can be called filters as they do alter what the camera sees but a lot of folks call them closeup lens instead of filters! A +10 lens will magnify the picture ten times. In other words it will enlarge the subject by a factor of ten! They can be stacked and get even more magnification but remember...The more glass you put between the cameras CCD and the subject the more distortion or loss of detail will occur! Just a fact of life!

Yes I remember tom using them with the tcon:-)

He had made a little chart with the distance to use them with the tcon!!

Ithink I will give it a try tomorow
