Would these macro filters work with a P712 or a P850 with the 55mm lens adapter? I would hope so. I do a lot of close-ups. (Such as flowers...) And, I would like to know if these filters would work with a P712 or a P850. ( Getting one of those for Christmas! )

Here they are: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...F8&s=photo

Cheers.

Woah.. That's too pricey for me. Will any 55mm macro filter work with a P712 or P850 with the lens adapter?

The price on the website is not good, you can buy these for only 40$ US at a good photo store, and yes they work good on the p850!!

There are many other brands too

Do they let you focus closer or what? I don't exactly understand what a macro filter does.

And guess what Boily! I finally have an excuse as to why you're so much better then me!!! You have all the cool gear... well maybe you're just a better photographer, but I like my excuse better!!!:?

These macro lenses let you come a little bit closer to the subject!!

Because they are cheap, I don't use them a lot

Here is one of the best shots I got with them

Why would you use them less because they were cheap? You afraid they're gonna break or something?

Well uhh...well uhh...I guess I'd call them lenses as they let you get up close and personal with small things.
