This was one of the first macro photographs I took when testing my new camera in the garden.

Thanks. admitidly I had to sneak in quite close to get that image. Digital zoom was never going to be ideal for macro shots, but it turned out pretty crisp. I did manage to get in even closer but pushed my luck too much since the fly became camera shy as I was trying to get a manual focus on the little sod!

Inspiration to try harder and focus faster next time :-)
