Anyone notice the double wing on this butterfly? Is that normal?

Been playing with fast shutter, 1/1000 for these, and so far like the results.

They do look great! I think my next two purchases wil be a set of closeup lens and a wrming polorizer!

I would strongly suggest, whatever you decide on, get something of REAL quality for a macro lens. I bought a set of tiffen macro filters, and although my other tiffen filters have been excellent, these haven't proven themselves at all; the pics come out at normal detail at best, and more often they seem blurry. I bought them because they came as a set of +1, +2, +4 and they were cheap! whoops!

Yes its normal, dragonfly are made like that too but its diffcult to see it!

Thanks for the info, Wiz. I'd be perturbed if I first spent the money on those lenses and then the time in trying to get them to do what they can't.
