Okay, maybe I am just not looking in the right spots, but I have a Vivitar 728 flash, and a Kodak p850. I found that the trigger voltage on the flash is 5.77v, but I cannot find the max for my p850 anywhere... any help would be grand, Thanks.

Nick, according to Mike O'Brien from Kodak the p850 will handle trigger voltage up to 500 volts so...no problemo:-)

Yes P series cams have this feature equivalent to some Pro-slrs which handles almost any professional hot-shoe mountable flashes.
