We on the Left Coast being particularly mindfull of our fellow beings provide Duck Crossing Guards at all busy intersections.

Ok! Ok! Okay!!!! You win!!! But I did read in a very trustworthy tome that NY, NY has more rain per annum than Seattle. It just doesn't come down all the time like it does here.

We've certainly had our share of rain this year. I don't think you get the coastal storms that dump good amounts of rain in short periods of time. I don't recall hearing of such storms, that is.
