Kind of off topic but I am just curious as to why they charge you border tax and what is it exactly? Thanks!

They charge us border tax because they are meanies. Basically it's just a tax for anything that gets mailed to us from outside of Canada. Last time I ordered something it was $5. It depends on weight and what shipping company you use.

i'm kind of off topic, I see most everyone on here uses the kodak lens adapter, I bought a 58mm adapter... is there anything wrong with that? besides the fact that my lenses cost more?

Umm... a 58mm lens adapter shouldn't even fit on the camera... obviously it does from what you just said, but that surprises me.

The only thing wrong is that it isn't quite as dependable, Kodak makes the adapter for the camera, so it's guaranteed to work.

Mine works fine... It's made specificallyfor the p850, just not by kodak

Oh, then theres no problem with it, besides it not working with the TCON, which is why I'm buying an adapter.

Nothing wrong with the 58mm adapter, but as you said your lens and filters will cost a little more!
