#2 the closest I could get with no lenses ( all these shots are in auto, macro, nothing done but resizing) probly about 3-4"

#4 a +10 and a +4 with the lens actually touching the battery( also need to say there is no zoom in any of these)

A tripod is a must !! lighting gets real tough because the adapter blocks almost all light, I used overhead lights and a flashlight coming in from the side. I've taken better closeups with these lenses, just a quick test to show you, so know that better shots can be had. I bought these on ebay for about 10 bucks( a set of +1,+2,+4,+10)just to play with, and for that money I can't complain about them. Using zoom is about impossible with them because of the very close focus distance

If you get a Tcon, you can also use the closeup filters with it, but your focus distance is about 30" to 48"...I have a chart of the distances with the tcon ( many thanks to Tom Overton for it!! Tom where are you?) if anyone is interested
