So how would this work on top of a 24mm lens? It would just make the wide angle even wider right?

Worth buying for the P880?

You should try it before because it might cause some vignetting...

Came across this on another forum, actually searching for compatible tcon adapters:

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=15728225

"vignetting" isn't even accurate in this case... "tunnel-vision" would be it!

Now I should say, if one were to find a shorter adapter tube, say, just longer than the lens barrel, then a wcon may work wonderfully. As-is, with the kodak adapter, it's not a good idea.

The magnifiction of the wcon is only 0.7x so its almost sure you won't have vignetting but with a 0.45x magnificationits almost impossible that you won't have vignetting espacially with the 24mm wide-angle on the camera !!

I think the Olympus wcon 0.7x or the kodak wide-angle 0.7 would do a great job !!

I would like to see some pictures taken with a wide-angle on the P880..

24mm x 0.7 = 16.8 mm :shock:wow

Whiz...vignetting is just that when using an auxilliary lens. You can also get a blurred vignetting hwen using a wide angle lens and then zoom out. This one is caused by lens distortion and not the tunnel vision you were talking about!
