Does youre camera get a bit warm? not really hot but warmish even after only being on for maybe 5-10mins? on the LCD screen (this has been like this since i've had it so its not new but thought i'd ask anyway..also my z700 does the samething )

also has it ever froze? mine did once at my brothers wedding after taking about 400 shots and had it on for probably an hour or so straight.. so it was pretty warm

and then just now I was playing around with it and i was in portrait mode with red eye and the flash went to fire and it lasted for maybe the first sec or so then the screen just went black (before the flash even finished) and it made that little dig sound although unlike at my brothers wedding where I had to take the battery out for the camera to turn off.. this time i just turned the camera off and it worked...

So i'm not really sure if it's something I should worry about or not..
I bought the camera June 3rd.. so it's not old or anything... also I let it sit on the battery dock when im not using it so its always fully charged.. but should I not do that?

I googled this problem and found there has been some problems with this
which only makes me worry lol but I don't know.. they all said to get a replacement but since its only happend once (it two different ways) I think that might be rushing into fast and dont wanna get a worser camera.. so I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and sure..

I've had this problem twice... and yesterday... about half of my EVF went out, but I turned the cam on and off and it worked wonderfully... How do I know if I need to upgrade the firmware or not?

go to menu then click on about and check to see if you have version 1.01

if you do then you don't need to upgrade..
