I have been trying to shoot white flowers all summer - that afternoon the light just seemed right. I was pleased with most of the shots ! Thanks again for the compliments !

Oh I really like those! Like the others said, the lighting is great! My hostas only bloom purple, never had a white one!

Thanks so much Niki - I got starts off of these from myMom. They have huge (dinner plate huge) size leaves, very glossy. The fragrance from the blooms is just heaven. Thanks for looking !

Wow, Just great shots.... Nice flowers, Nice lighting, Good combination of white & green in front of Black. i very much like all of pics specially first one, infact i also want to shoot this type of pics, Please give some more details i mean, the lighting conditions of acutually shoot etc.

and this is done by 7590 ?

Hi IndianGuy,

yes, these pic were all taken with the 7590. The plants are located underneath trees, so they were in dappled light/shade. I took these around 5 pm. The camera settings were ISO 80, 1/640, F5, exp. +0.3, and center weight metering. Hope this helps. If you need additional info, just ask !
