I bought my P880 at Bestbuy, however they dont' stock them. They do sell them via there website. I purchased it over a sony cybershot, (which they did stock), due to the pricing. They had a special on the P880.

I'm not really looking into buying them. I'm just tryingf them! XD For the heck of it. See how they feel. The only real ones I'm looking at are the P712, Z612 and the P880. I just want to go too the store and mess with them. XD I want the P712 the most. the P880 or Z612 might be my second choice.

So yeah, I just want to go too the store to play with them.... :-P I'll be getting my new camera for Christmas! :-)

I'm not sure I'll get that one. Probably because it doesn't have RAW or TIFF. And no panrama mode. but, I do like it because of its 12x IS lens. And MPEG-4 video. But, the P712 has so many cool features. Like the fast autofocus, super fast click to capture, etc.

Cheers.

Well if you're just going to try them and not buy them, go ahead and try ritz! Right after I got my 880, they had one on display (and an 850), though that was like 6 months ago... maybe worth the trip to have some playtime!

Hmm... maybe you're right But, my mom REALLY REALLY doesn't like going to the mall... -.- I think its fun, but, she doesn't. XD Apparently, bestbuy has the best selection around here. So, we'll go there and see what they have.

Yeah, I'm not going to buy, but, trying them might make me want them more... O.o

Cheers.

I also did check lots of cams in stores just for fun and to stay in touch. I held and shot with Kodak P880 and FZ30 (panasonic) in Ritz store, both are nice. Pana FZ7 I didnt like so small and light and cheap look. P850 I could hold but no batteries were charged so I didnt get the full idea. Sony's H2 and H5 both are very nice looking and handling cameras. Canon S3IS looks giant but LCD is so tiny. Its operation was brisk and button layout was intuitive. I am waiting to have hold on Kodak P712.

Meanwhile I heard Z612 is a great camera, I would check it but for the reason that it doesnot have control over Jpg compression or RAW format out put, I will not buy it.
