Here 2 pics of moon taken at evening by Kodak 6490, Please say any comments for take moon shot with 6490, waiting for tips for take Moon pics, like what the best time for take shot & what apeture v use etc.

first one is original...

Like BigDawg said, when the moon is visible and I have the time, thats the right time:-)...I generally use F 5-6, iso 80, minimum 1/125 up to 1/250 shutter. The moon gives a lot of light and moves faster than we realize. Doesn't need to be a full moon, 1/4 and 1/2 moons make a nice scene

I've gottem decent results by a lot of settings and no one setting is exactly the right one. Although the ones Dan gave you are some good ones. You need to bracket the shots or start high speed and step it down or go low speed and step it up! Same with the F stop work from one end or the other till you get the shot you want!
