I've seen those! :-) I think she probably needed to use a faster shutter speed on most of them...

I think she shoots Auto or mostly so. And it was overcast so those look pretty good to me.

No Exif to look at.

Probably. Its probably the best she could do with overcast. :-) I guess they're pretty good for the conditions.

The shots I'm seeing with the P712 are excellant here! I don't see any issue with Noise. Makes me wonder sometimes who or what manufacturer started the rumor mill going! Great job Oh great winged Fossil! And I agree, some weed killer should be aplied to that poor plant! Good photo of it though!

Yeah. I judge pictures by how they look when re-sized down to like 800x600. Because usually the original doesn't really look to good (when I say that, I mean it doesn't look as clear/clean as it would re-sized.). I always re-size mine down to 800x600 or smaller.

So, if a shot looks terrible at ISO 400 at full resolution, down size it. And do a little something about the noise! :-)

for noise, I recommend using The GIMP. And doing a selective Gaussian blur of about 20 on the image. Doesn't always work. But, should work most of the time! ^^

So, I say, don't judge a photo by how it looks full sized, down size it first. Then let the quality really shine. :-)

Cheers.
