Very nice shots domang! Are you using any Macro Filters or something? Because I can't focus that close with the P850

No filters -naked camera. The Z650 may be better at macros but I'm not sure. People do well with the P850 when they work at seeing what works.

BTW - The P712 looks to have good detail as shown here: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=19809847

But then, "tealblue" is a good photographer.

I like No. 1 for the angle of the board he's on. Gives it a better look! You are going to have to get a degree in entomology to go with these closeups!
