I'm with dawg on this one! Digizoom works great while mooning! I usually zoom in just enough to keep the image dimensions high. If you digi-zoom too much on the P850, it cuts the resolution down to 1024 x 768.

Here is the EXIF for those that can't read it! You'll notice the Digital zoom is at 3X and no cropping done to the photo!

Nice moon shots, by the way dawg is right, you should try to use the digi-zoom for your moon shots :-)
