Hey all, I'm looking at this as a pocket camera. The fact that it does wide angle appeals to me seeing as my P850 has a very narrow lens with a 38mm widest angle. So how does this camera perform, does it take good shots?

I own a Kodak V-570 and have really enjoyed it a lot. Here is a photo sample.

Very nice mtclimber! I plan to use it for taking pictures inside my school (dark hallways kind of thing). Well dark to a camera anyways.

Do you think it would work for that?

Morag2-

Nope! I honestly don't think that it will work very well in that environment.

Hmm, no fun, that wide angle would have been nice seeing as my P850 is 36mm at widest! The search continues:lol:

Already saw one example from Sarah and more you can check on dpreview forum. Recently one Real estate person showed marvelous capacity of this camera by some building shots. V570 seems to be unique pocketable camera. However Kodak has announced V705 that is similar to it with 7 megapixel (extra MPs not important) and ISO1000 range with digital image stabilizer etc.

Atindra.... I know I'm the minority here, but I still strongly disagree with statements like "extra MPs not important". I subscribe to the belief that one cannot ever have enough megapixels. If megapixels were not important, why then do the pros use extremely high megapixel cameras?
