If there were victims then they were the swans. The gull was buzzing them to try to drive them from the bread I'd tossed them. Wish I could have caught that but it was much too fast.

Couldn't estimate the distance but that crop made the birdabout half againits size as in the original and that was at 10X. Not a great answer but it's the best I can do.
