Hi,

Just popping in here to ask if anyone knows when the C875 will hit uk shops and if anyone has seen a review for it yet?

Thanks

The 875 is on the shelves in the US. I have already played with one. They have an a** of feature for a compact camera. They have panostitching, custom and manual settings... Really nice, if I really felt the need to spend the same on my pocket camera as I did for my p850, then I would get one.

thanks for the info - how much are they in the us?

i have no clue as to what price point they will be at - comparable to a canon a700? or to the ixus800?

I am sure the camera will find its over the pond to the U.K. side so please don't hold your breath waiting or you eill turn blue like your shirt!!!!:G

Look at your photo web site. Some nice pictures.

What pano progtam are you using? I use auto stitch, a free program that is bi-directional (stitches horizontal and verticle.

Best prices I found here in the states
Kodak c875--$265
Canon a700-- $319
The 8mp of the kodak vs canon's 6mp might encourage me to wait till you can try one

Dan

A pano shot today at a local Salt Marsh Nature Center built by the city of New York from a place used to dump stolen cars that were also set on fire.

Made from 4 verticle shots with Z7590
