I've had my A1 for about a year now and have loved it. I typically use the built-in flash for normal stuff, but have used an external flash via link cablefrom an older SLR for those occasions needing more light. Of course, it takes a bit of fiddling to get the right balance of light.
I'd like to get a nice flash for my A1, but need some recommendations as to whatI should be looking for. I've seen the Maxxum 3600 and 5600 flashes and was hoping there was something out there a bit less in price. Any thoughts? Scott |

I can't provide you with a personal testimonial, but I am told that this is equivalent to the 5600 (must be s/n 6xxxx and above):
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search I'm not ready to purchase an external flash for my A1 at this time, but this is the strobe that is at the top of my list. |
