I have 3 disks with my KM A200
Dimage Viewer - this installs with no problem DiMage Instruction Manuals - I just copied the PDF files VideoStudio *SE VCD - it appears that I need a registration license for this. Do I need to buy it? Is this just a Demo or sales promotion? Should I get a registration code from the camera retailer? What about other programs such as the QuickTime installation. This asks for a registartion code as well. Does it need one? It seems to install OK without. Will it stop after 30 days? |

VideoStudio is a product of Ulead (I think). You will need it to edit , and to put titles in the movie. It is also used to convert to another format such as SVCD, VCD, etc. I think Dimage use MOV format.
If you think you need to do all the tasks mentioned above then you should buy the registration. If not, you can download many free programs in the Internet to convert and edit the movies that you'll take with the camera. |

Hi
I also have an A200. I seem to remember that the Ulead software that comes with the camera should just need registering then you should get a serial number by email. In my case it is a fully working version and it was all very painless. In practice though as I work on a PC I convert my .movs to AVI with MP4CAM2AVI (free) then use windows movie maker to process. QuickTime player is normally aprogram that again just needs registering. Cheers Steve |
