Sorry if it's wrong forum, but is it possible to transfer warranty for minolta digicams?
I'm in Canada and i bought a200 in USA (thru ebay) and the owner isnt sure if it's possible to transfer warranty to me. Does somebody know if she can? And if yes, pls tell me what she has to do or just give a link if it was discussed before (i didnt find using search). Thanks ![]() |

Most USA warrantys are assumed (without having to register them with any company) at the moment of purchase (the mail-in card stuff is for marketing reasons).

As long as you have the original receipt, you should be fineexcept that you'd probably have to ship it to the USA for service. AFAIK, Minolta Canada doesn't honor warranties on US-purchased products.
