Hi folks, I'm a newbie here so please have paitence... i recently purchased a Dimage X31, fine. I cannot get win XP to recognise the camera to transfer images.I updated the service pack and verified that the USB2 is working perfectly.. Has anyone any advice as I'm extremly frustrated... The motherboard ect is all up to date new equipment...

Well it doesn't need any drivers for Win XP to recognize it. A couple of things to try. What transfer mode have you got the camera set to ? I don't know what your camera has but if there are options, try another setting. If you are using a USB hub, they tend not to like that. Make sure to use one of your built in USB ports, straight to the motherboard. And don't forget to connect your camera and lead to the computer before switching on the camera.

Thanks Steve... But still nothing.. I'm currently useing a card reader to retreive my images..... Suggestions still welcome !!!
